Greg Duffell is an innovative and highly accomplished Travel & Technology entrepreneur with 30 years of global experience including CEO/President of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA); Manager Strategy and Business Development Emirates Airline Group for their travel arm – dnata Travel; CEO of Bangkok-based DMC, Indochina Services Travel Group; General Manager-Worldwide Network for the Thomas Cook Group; and Regional Director – Asia Pacific for Budget Rent A Car.

In technology, he created his own ancillary mobile app TripXtra; and co-founded a Silicon Valley software company, Migo Software taking it public in 2005 with Jay Elliot one of the original Apple senior team and the mid-90’s was part of a pioneering team that introduced electric vehicles to Asia. He has also reengineered tech companies, such as Illusions Online in Dubai and Creative Advances Technology in Malaysia and consulted to a number of online travel ventures: WhereisWhere.com; dnatatravel.com; golfasian.com

Greg is an enthusiastic “educator”, as co-founder/advisor to the International School of Sustainable Tourism in Subic Bay, Philippines. He is a well-known and entertaining key-note speaker at global Tourism and Technology conferences and lectured on Intellectual Capital under the consultancy Areopa.

A native of New Zealand, since leaving school he spent a stint pilot training with the Royal Australian Air Force, he has lived and worked in Australia, Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand), Dubai, UK and USA. His home base has been in Asia for the past 26 years and he is conversant in a number of Asian languages – including Bahasa and Thai.
